Kudaushe Matimba, BMus

Kudaushe Matimba was born and raised in Zimbabwe. He started playing music at school when he was about 9 years old. Matimba has performed and conducted music workshops in Singapore, Britain, Germany, USA, Zimbabwe, South Africa and Botswana. He has developed a successful repertoire of African drumming and styles, and as a result of that he has had excellent results with the participators.

Matimba received his degree in Ethnomusicology from SOAS, University of London. Matimba has performed and toured extensively with some of the most well known Zimbabwean musicians such as Stella Chiweshe, and internationally-renowned the Bhundu Boys.
